Beth Weber

Well, I cannot believe it but this is my 15th season as a rower at Riverfront Recapture! I started out in 2002 in a Learn to Row class and quickly fell in love with the sport. As a member of the Women's Competitive team, I am on the water training from March until October every year training and racing. It's great to take advantage of the wonderful natural resource that we have in the Connecticut River and have an outlet to compete and participate in a sport that requires as much finesse as it does strength, that challenges me mentally and physically, and that allows me to be with a great group of dedicated women throughout the year.

Being a part of Riverfront, has been such a joy for me and I try to give back every year to support the program. Besides the Competitive teams, Riverfront has a whole host of other programs, serving over 650 people annually, including the Learn To Row, Recreational, Adaptive, and High School programs (including sponsoring inner-city youth in the program).

I hope you will consider supporting me and the program that has given so much to my life and gives back to the larger Hartford Community.
